Although it never reached U.S. shores, the S15 Silvia was the next iteration of what could have been the 3rd generation 240sx. An icon in the world of drifting, the S15 was introduced for the 1999 model year and featured a 250-hp version of the SR20DET motor. Available in Spec-S or Spec-R trim with an optional aero package, the S15 was only sold in Japan, Australia and New Zealand. Colloquially known as the “strawberry,” the S15 marked the end of the Nissan S-chassis.
