The 3rd and final generation of the Rx-7 is probably the most recognizable and easily the most popular. The FD featured the first mass-produced sequential twin-turbo system from Japan, which produced 252 hp from the 13B-REW wankel motor. Sold under the Efini brand in Japan, the last RX-7 revved to 8K rpm with smooth, linear acceleration and a huge torque curve. In the United States, it was offered in three trim levels: base, touring and R, and produced from 1993-1998.
