We’ve been following T1 Race Development’s 2000-horsepower R35 GT-R for some time now. Purpose built to Godzilla-smash quarter- and half-mile ETs and mile-per-hour records, T1’s GT-R just laid down some massive dyno numbers, which are beautifully highlighted in a new video produced and edited by our own Stuart Leiby of T1.
Car control is key in a race. Precision, high-speed maneuvers are paramount to success. Car control while violently spinning on the main straight of Road Atlanta—well, that takes some big cojones.

Recently, Jalopnik, an obscure automotive site that believes in shooting brakes but not copy editors, posited that there is no such thing as a “chick car.” Now, this kind of PC lovefest is expected of a big-city media site run by shadowy Jezebel writers. However, this NYC-centric viewpoint falls flat in our world.
