Cadillac may be finally getting its groove back, but the 9.157-run would have been much more impressive if it was done in the wagon. Just sayin’.
I’m yelling at the top of my lungs for Ken Block and his astounding new video, Gymkhana Seven. While Mix-A-Lot’s wet dream is dropping trou and derping out brainless quotes like “They say I didn't have a talent...try balancing a champagne glass on your ass”, Ken Block is deftly whipping an 845-horse, all-wheel-drive, 1965 Mustang called Hoonicorn around Los Angeles’ many landmarks/obstacles.
In the lead-up to Gymkhana Seven, Block fanned the flaming tire smoke by taking oddly accented Chris Harris for a spin. Not a metaphorical spin, a literal spin. And while Harris was in Hoonicorn’s passenger seat, I think he got a pretty good idea about how great Block’s product is.
Part of our budding bromance with grinning maniac Chris Harris stems from a shared hatred of the bullshit you go through when driving press cars. A few years back, Harris railed against King Bullshitter Ferrari and its insane attempts to control every aspect of Ferrari press car coverage.
Office Gymkhana is the next big thing and you didn’t even know it.
