I was awe-struck by the sheer size of Hennessey's facility. It appeared abruptly from the Texas countryside as we took the exit off I-10. That combined with all my dream cars lined-up against the western-facing lot, I couldn't help but get immersed in the automotive rapture and stand mesmerized for what felt like days. And that was just the beginning.
This was the location for Day 2 of TX2K12; Lonestar Motorsports Park in Sealy, TX. It was also the setting for the remainder of the event. Day 2 comprised of a day-long dyno session followed by a judged show-n-shine car show. Hennessey's Mustang Dyno, properly refered to as "The Heart Breaker", catered to all the AWD vehicles. The Dynojet dyno tucked well into the facility catered to the 2WD crowd. Both were running simultaneously on a first-come-first-serve basis, with priority going to all event sponsors. Did I mention the dyno sessions were completely free?
