At Revvolution, we’ve been to our fair share of events, and we figured it was time to create one of our own to bring the culture and lifestyle that we’ve grown so fond of to our own backyard. Since the Colorado car scene is diverse, we wanted an event that could cater to all makes, models and genres.
Last weekend Team Revvolution made their presence known at Colorado Unlimited Sport Car Club’s ninth annual CUSCC Auto Show in Westminster, Colorado. This is one of Colorado's largest and quickest growing shows of the year with more than fifteen hundred cars in attendance. With an interest in promoting our May 18 Revvolution EAS Automotive Lifestyle Event, and our Pikes Peak Airstrip Attack, we set up our booth and invited some of our members to help properly represent Revvolution.com. It’s amazing to see Colorado's car culture continuing to grow and gain recognition. CUSCC invited various sponsors to come out and raffle items, while live music and free spectating was available for the masses. It's awesome seeing this event grow each year and we can only imagine what it will be like next year.
Revvolution and Elite Auto Salon (EAS) are excited to announce our second annual Automotive Lifestyle Event for 2014. The car event highlights Colorado’s car culture by bringing together automotive businesses and organizations from around the state and surrounding areas. This year’s event, being held at the same venue as last year, Pikes Peak International Raceway in Fountain, Colorado, promises to be bigger, better, and harder hitting.. To ensure not to conflict with one of our other primary events, the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb, and to steer clear of the daily June rain showers, this year’s event will be held on May 18th, 2014.
We take pride in the lifestyle and coverage that we’ve defined for Revvolution.com. We strive to depict something larger about the automotive scene than meets the eye. It’s not just about car shows or meets. Not just about track days or your reaction time at the drag strip. Not just about engaging with like-minded enthusiasts over the latest modifications. Nor is it just about the party afterward. It’s about all of it—the lifestyle. The car culture at large. This is what we have built Revvolution upon—the culture and coverage that we aim to promote.
This past weekend, a few of us took a cruise from our HQ down in the Springs up to Denver and found ourselves deeply immersed in the pure all-wheel-drive lifestyle. Hosted by none other than the local 99cookies, this mini-meet fell victim to sub-zero temperatures and a rolling storm front that pierced the layers straight to the core. But we persevered as this was an event characterized by dozens of dirt-slaying, snow-munching and panty-dropping Evos, Subbies, DSMs, and Euros assembled for one reason – to beat the winter blues by expressing the culture that is defined by “AWD”.
