Last week, we introduced the Revvolution.com Project BRZ, and outlined the partners involved and our overall build objectives. As you will recall, the goal for the Revvolution Project BRZ is a progressive performance build that is oriented toward high-performance street driving and moderate track applications. This week we will dive into the project with hands-on feedback as we outline our first objective: strengthening the chassis.
We’ve mentioned it a few times before, but consider this your formal introduction to the 2014 Subaru Revvolution build! You may have noticed during our platform overview series that we mentioned getting our hands on a BRZ of our own to play with; and now we want to make sure we share our vision for the build, and introduce all of the partners involved in this massive undertaking.
Each week we sift through all the automotive content we uncover on Revvolution.com, our social channels, and through direct submissions to determine the week’s Top Automotive Photography Candidates. We then present this selection to our audience through our social channels for your vote. Every Monday we tally the votes and add the winning selections to the Weekly Top 10 Social Automotive Photography article.
Clarity. Exposure. Sharpness. Tone. Contrast. Subject & Composition. These are all qualities that define a great photograph. And they’re exactly what we’re looking for. With this series, we aim to highlight the industry professionals and amateurs who have dedicated their time and expertise to create anything from perfect renditions to stunning works of art. From that perfect natural golden hour light scraping across the car in just the right way to full-on studio lighting where photographers masterfully shape the car with strobes—as long as the primary subject was taken with a camera, it’s fair game. If you like what you see, please be sure to jump over to the photographer’s Facebook or Flickr pages and follow them to show your support.
Didn't make it to Import Expo, one of the East Coast's biggest scene events? Well, Anthony over at Halcyon Photo did, and we're glad he was there. The guys over at Import Expo in Canada hooked up with SNTRL in NYC for one of the premier events of the season at the Atlantic City Convention Center. Some of the best import cars were on display, ranging from slammed Subarus to matching Integra builds. Be sure to check out our full event coverage!
It’s not often a car show puts the best of the East Coast against that of our neighbors in the Great White North. Import Expo, a Canadian import show series, and SNTRL, a US-based tuning culture website, did just that at the Atlantic City Convention Center this past weekend. You can never be sure just what to expect from a brand-new show like this, so we were a little weary on our journey to the event. Could they really pull off a fusion of Canadian and American car culture? True to their tag line of “East Coast, We Go Hard,” the answer came the second I walked through the door.
