Let's bring this back up to speed! I got the talon running pretty strong for a few weeks at 26psi. After switching to speed density and removing the nasty MAF and air filter I picked up another 6lb/min of air flow at the same boost levels! 60hp worth of air flow gained, can you say restriction?!

We decided to try out a billet extended inducer tip compressor wheel to see if we could get it to flow more. Got the MBC dialed back in, did two pulls with it and heard what sounded like a coupler blow off, except with a nasty jingling. Thought I broke something in the head or something. Turns out we didn't let the locktite bond long enough, coupled with a weird clockwise turbine shaft the nut backed out and shoved the turbine into the housing. So I have a new TD06 turbine on its way!

I've been missing this one for awhile now. -.- Sorry guys. I really need to become more active on the forums again. Computer problems have been really letting me get behind lately.

On a seperate, on topic note; As an update, I've been rebuilding the 4cyl. engine from a Mitsubishi Galant, because i got it for a steal, and i can use it or re-see it or anything like that! In terms of the car, I'm cleaning and maintaining my Acura TL, getting ready to sell it.

Sick man! That is some damn good improvements. On my Talon I will be sticking with the Evo VIII ECU and Evo MAF... But on a note, I put my OE O2 housing back on and gave my Talon an oil change, rotate, and balance as well.

4 cylinder from a Galant? It wouldn't happen to be of the 4G63 variety is it??

Haha, thank you sir. Nice, how is the ECU treating you? What O2 housing were you using again?

Got some Power Stop brake pads and Power Stop drilled and slotted rotors, installed them after work yesterday after work. First time doing brakes; turned out just fine :) Big difference in stoping power, too!
.....just sayin....
