You maybe wondering what a sentimental song is. Basically it's a song that you heard years and years ago and you can still remember were or what you were doing when you heard it. It could take you back to something that was good or something that was bad. For me it's Julien Lennon's Much To Late For Goodbye. Everytime I hear this song it makes me remember when I was in the hospital to have surgery on my right arm that I broke. As I was counting backwards from 100, slowly going to sleep, Julien Lennon's Much To Late For Goodbye was on the radio. This was back in 1985 and I can still remember where I was when I heard that song. Therefore it's a sentimental song to me. :)

For me it'd be Metallica's The House That Jack Built. I was fairly young at the time and my older brother would always jam that for me when watching me during days off of school, summer vacation, etc... Always good times for us.

Nice thread idea! None of the things I was doing when I heard my sentimental songs are forum appropriate, but they sure were fun!
