You just may end up having to MacGuyver something to make it work! (Like using an injector clip as a "C" clip for a door lock mechanism.)5/9/2012: Spending some extra money on a quality electric/pneumatic impact gun can really help get that project done quickly. Not only that, but it's handy for quickly removing bolts and nuts, especially when they're rusted or seized. Be sure to use an impact socket as most standard sockets won't stand up to this type of torque requirements for this application.5/8/2012: It’s amazing the things in your Girl’s handbag can accomplish! That hand sanitizer has more uses than the obvious. Anytime you’re stuck in the freezing cold with frozen, stubborn locks, simply douse the mechanism with the sanitizer to loosen it up! The high-alcohol content will quickly break down the ice. 5/7/2012: It is always a good idea to keep some penetrating lube/PB Blast around for those stuck nuts and bolts. However If you don't have any, try using some coke or even dripping wax on the threads.
