If you could have ANY car fully restored, what would it be? Would you do it or would you have somebody else?

I was thinking.... this is a super tough question. But because it's RESTORED, I would have to say a legit 1967 Shelby Cobra

Restored huh? That does make it tough! I would love new age tech in some of the older cars! I think mine would be a toss up between a Toyota 2000GT or the original year Datsun 240Z. Not a ton of power, but absolutely gorgeous bodies and rwd.

Damn dude, the 2000GT? That's a blast from the past!

Heck yeah man. If its gotta be stock, then I want to be in style!

It would be a toss-up between the 1985 Merkur XR4TI or the 1968 Ford Escort RS2000

Holy crap man, you guys are coming up some legit stuff that I haven't even thought of! There's a '67 (?) Datsun 411 with a Miata swap sitting in EAS' shop right now.. fully caged and ready for the track this weekend. Looking forward to getting some shots!

I think it would be cool as hell to have a super old-school hill climb car restored to its former glory. Like super old, like 1920s lol!

I know mine is definitely typical but it is what brought me to love cars at a very young age, a 1970 Chevelle SS. Must have a 454. There is just something about this car... I would take one over an R34 if that says anything. And one indecisive follow up, a 1955 Chevrolet Truck. 2wd step side.
If you talk the talk, you better crankwalk the walk.

You're right, that IS a tough question. I would really have to say either a 70' Mercury Cougar Eliminator, ( I love those things to death ) or an original, STOCK 68' Nissan skyline 2000 GT.

I definetly like all the other ideas, as well. Honestly, I would HAPPILY drive every single car that you guys have mentioned, haha.

You know it is really hard to actually give one straight answer here. So many I'd love to restore between old Americn Muscle and old Imports.
