Haha, I failed on Friday on the Jetta, so I have another month. I am just going to break down and pay someone to fix it. Tired of not having a reliable car anyways. Lol, yep too bad in my state they dont consider 95s to be OBDII. I need a sniffer, which is why I just installed that magnaflow cat.
Originally posted by talonIVGotta get it in for testing I take it? When we lived in Phoenix, I have never praised having DSMlink so much. And a car too low to put on rollers. Its how my good friend passed emissions in his GSX. Yeah yeah let me get in here with my computer and baaammmm! readiness monitors are good!
I get sniffed because it is a 95. It is OBDII, the first year for DSMs. Maryland doesnt seem to know or care about that thought. It is just 96 and up for them. So I have a 2001 Jetta that gets the OBDII check and wont pass that, but will pass the sniffer with flying colors, and a 95 Talon that wont pass the sniffer without doing certain... things, and could pass the OBDII with flying colors.
Originally posted by talonIVYou still get sniffed even though its a 95?? Or is it the fact that its pre OBDII that you get sniffed?
