Team Revvolution cruised up to the Lincoln College of Technology in Aurora this past Saturday, September 23 to check out The Club Gathering @ Lincoln Tech presented by LOWCLASS & 99 Cookies. Some of Colorado’s biggest automotive clubs turned out for the event, including Krawlorado, Simply Fresh, Nationwide and GhettoFab.

James McHarge, director of media and events for the college, organized the meet and hopes it will soon become a regular happening in the local scene. He explained that Saturday’s event was a sort of “dry run” to gauge response and see how everyone behaved, as Lincoln Tech took a big risk by allowing the meet to take place on campus. Only respectful and responsible crews were invited to attend.

James wants to grow the event into something larger that will help spotlight Colorado’s car culture; he hopes to eventually have an autocross course, burnout contest and sponsors to give away prizes. We had a great time chatting with fellow enthusiasts, and of course, checking out the cars.
