Yaw (Yaw Control)

By talonIV11/10/2011

To twist or oscilate on a verticle axis. Yaw Control or Active Yaw Control is based on a computer controlled system, first debuted by Mitsubishi in the Lancer Evolution IV. It operates on a computer controled rear differential that can split torque via readings from various sensors about the vehicle that measure longitudinal and lateral G forces, steering, brake, and throttle position. Unlike most stability control systems, Yaw Control focuses on making the car handle a corner at increased speeds, not using the ABS to slow the car for more control.
