Oversquare engine

An oversquare or short-stroke engine has a bore/stroke ratio greater than 1:1, meaning the bore is larger than the stroke. The RB26DETT from the R32, R33 and R34 Nissan Skyline GTR, as well as Subaru's EJ-series engines, are examples of oversquare engines.
