The launch of our newest feature provides an ideal opportunity to lay down the theory behind the inception of REVVOLUTION.COM. We are creating an online community of automotive enthusiasts that is fueled by the culture of automotive society, a culture that is in the process of changing for the better.
Do you find that you're addicted to the thrill and speed of driving fast, but don't know the first thing about what's actually going on under the hood? Do you want to know more about what's happening without having to attend Auto Shop 101? Are you intimidated by the tech at your local performance shop because he's always trying to sell you blinker fluid, muffler bearings and other parts that you're not sure even exist? If you answered "yes" to any of these questions, this is where you need to start. We'll tell you all about the noisy chunk of metal connected to your wheels and a little bit about the things that make it go forward.
Day 1 of TX2K12 took place at the meticulously well-taken-care-of track, MSR Houston, located 35 miles south in Angleton, TX. TX2K was originally launched as a small, grassroots gathering targeting Toyota Supra enthusiasts. Over the past dozen years, TX2K has evolved into an international event featuring GT-R's, Porsches, Vipers, Lamborghinis, Corvettes and other high-performance favorites. This year, TX2K12 included a driver's education and Time Attack event at MSR Houston, Dyno Day at Hennessey Performance engineering, as well as drag and roll racing at Lonestar Motorsports Park.
Day 2 of TX2K12 located at Lonestar Motorsports Park in Sealy, TX. It was also the setting for the remainder of the event. Day 2 comprised of a day-long dyno session followed by a judged show-n-shine car show.

Arriving around 8 AM, we could tell many were still recouperating from last night's Frank-N-Stein meet & bikini contest. Nonetheless, the players showed-up to race and the tone was set early on.
